Explore Northern California’s largest woodie show that features more than 200 stylish, pre-1952 wood-bodied cars. At the 22nd annual Woodies on the Wharf, over 200 of these beasts have been restored to their very cherry condition with beautiful wood paneling and all of the period details.
There will be music, T-shirts, memorabilia and prize drawings, with a free bike valet as a bonus. Visitors can stroll through the wharf and enjoy dozens of shops and restaurants, as you soak up the sun and the beautiful coastal view.
Come to Santa Cruz and meet the Woodie, the original late ’20s to the ’50s, “boring ol’ station wagon.” In the ’60s, the Santa Cruz beach kids realized it’s cheap, roomy and great for hauling surf boards; meaning, an American icon was born.
Show starts at 10am until 3:30 pm this coming Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Santa Cruz Wharf. No admission needed!
The Parade off the Wharf begins promptly at 3:30 pm. This is a highlight of the show both for Woodie owners and for the thousands of people who come to the wharf to see the cars.
