Celebrate the Eclipse on Monday, August 21st by unplugging for the Sun from 7:00 am to 11:00 am (bring your phone plug) at one of three SF locations:
- City Hall, Polk Street side
- next to ETrade on Market
- The Ferry Building
They will be offering free coffee and eclipse sunglasses. CPUC. Mayor Ed Lee and CPUC Commissioners Carla Peterman and Liane Randolph will be at the City Hall Celebration.
Please always use proper eye protection when viewing an eclipse. Using just sunglasses, or smoked glass could permantly damage your eyes or even go blind. View saftey info from NASA or timeanddate.com.
