Americans have dealt with a lot of changes this year, but one thing has stayed the same – the unchanging parts of America’s national parks. This year, the oldest parks in the world have turned 100 years, and for 10 solid days next year, you can visit them without spending a dollar!
Yes, The National Park Service just released its official calendar of free park days for 2017! While majority of them are free year-round, 124 of them charge admission fees apparently. That is, except for these days next year:
1. January 16th: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
2. February 20th: Presidents’ Day
3. April 15th-16th & April 22nd-23rd: National Park Week weekends
4. August 25th: National Park Service birthday
5. September 30th: National Public Lands Day
6. November 11th-12th: Veterans Day weekend
What are you waiting for? Go plan your trip now! Need some tips? We got you. For the most popular parks, you should visit the scenic Martian trails of Zion, the sunset-flecked marble mountains of Yosemite, and the Thai-influenced craft beers at Grand Teton.
You’re Welcome!
