Everyone’s invited to join this unique opportunity to explore Arastradero Preserve at night and get to encounter bats, glow-in-the-dark scorpions, owls, spiders, and more.
This free guided night hike will be on Monday, October 22, 2018, at 6:30 pm in Palo Alto, California.
Participants are expected to stay for the entire duration of the hike. Bathroom access will be available at the start and end of the walk. Minor hikers under 18 are required to present a signed waiver, while children under the age of 18 need an accompanying adult.
Please bring a flashlight (bring one with a red filter or red tape if possible), a reusable water bottle, dinner or snack.
Please dress for hiking, rain, and cold nighttime temperatures (sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, a warm hat, and layers are recommended).
