Taco Bell will finally open its kitchen to the public, but with limited slots, allowing fans to see and experience the mysterious Test Kitchen on May 19th.
For the first time ever, Taco Bell is opening its food kitchen at its Irvine, California headquarters to the public with reservations via OpenTable. Those who score a slot will get an exclusive dinner prepared by Taco Bell’s top chefs, including new twists on classic menu items as well as never-before-seen items and new amazing food creations before they’re available to the public.
You have this whole experience gratis, although you’ll have to pay for your travel and accommodation expenses if you don’t live in Irvine, according to Taco Bell’s press release.
“The chance to be the first to see our innovative food, where its created, from the chefs who make it happen, is a unique experience that’s never been available to the public until now,” Liz Matthews, Chief Food Officer at Taco Bell, said in a statement.
For reservations for the first dining experience at the Test Kitchen, T-Bell will be dropping the OpenTable link on Cinco de Mayo, or May 5. The initial dinner will include only 32 guests, but according to Taco Bell, it’ll be followed by a series of additional dining experiences throughout the year.
“As a brand known for our firsts, we’re excited to open our doors into the magic of our innovation and give our biggest fans an experience they’ll never forget,” Matthews added.
