Want to try a new kind of experience this weekend?
McClelland Dairy in Petaluma, California invites you all to their 1,500 acres farm and see firsthand how Organic Valley farms run.
Come take a free farm tour and see a wide pasture and cropland, cows to milk, calves to take care for. This is going to be on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and definitely no fees required.
Here are the free activities on the farm:
- Learn aboutmilking, pasture and calves during presentations throughout the day
- Sample Organic Valley products
- Shake andmake your own butter
- Make a cow puppet
- Submit an entry for the calf naming contest
- Visit the petting farm area
- Complete the hay maze
- Speed around the pedal car raceway
- Sustainability activities
- There will be additional paid activities throughout the day as part of the McClelland Dairy Organic Pumpkin Patch.
Remember that it’s okay to arrive anytime during the event hours, and you can spend as long as you like on this very fun day at the farm.
