Celebrate Free Comic Book Day all over San Francisco on Saturday, May 6th in SF Bay Area. This is an annual tradition held every first Saturday in May each year, where participating comic book shops give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
Free comics are being put out by major publishers like Marvel Comics, Dark horse Comics, DC Comics, IDW Publishing, and Imagine Comics.
There’s truly a book for everyone: from superheroes, to popular film and television shows, to beloved video games, and all-ages stories. Popular series from past years have included Bob’s Burgers, Doctor Who, Assassin’s Creed, and SpongeBob.
