Partake in a free coastal clean-up activity with Surfrider Foundation’s San Francisco Chapter at Ocean Beach and have a free Salted Caramel Sundae by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company.
The partnership will happen on World Oceans Day on Sunday, June 5 and continues in July on Sunday, July 10. On each of those days, Ghirardelli will join Surfrider Foundation in hosting a cleanup at Ocean Beach from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., helping to raise awareness about protecting the urban beach.
Participants will meet at Stairwell 17 (across from Beach Chalet Restaurant), where Surfrider Foundation will provide supplies of buckets and gloves.
Ghirardelli will treat each participant with a voucher to use towards an Ocean Beach Sundae at any participating Ghirardelli location (Ghirardelli Square, Westfield Center or The Palace Hotel) in San Francisco. No expiration date so you can enjoy it anytime you want to.
Don’t forget to RSVP on Facebook! Only volunteers who participate in the full beach cleanup can get vouchers (so don’t show up at 11:30am expecting a voucher).
