UCSF Osher Center invites you to their last free laughter yoga class this year, which will be on Wednesday, December 21st, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at 1545 Divisadero St, 5th Floor in San Francisco, California.
True, laughter is contagious and really has a powerful and immediate effect on our body, mind, and spirit, that’s why it’s being used as a tool in yoga. Laughter yoga involves deep breathing, clapping, stretching, and laughter exercises.
Benefits of laughter yoga:
- Increase blood flow and oxygen to all the major organs
- Enhance endorphin levels which make us feel uplifted and can reduce pain
- Stimulate immune, digestive and cardiac systems
- Reduce stress levels
- Relax, strengthen and lengthen the muscles with stretching
- Help create a laughing community and be fun
