Join the free exhibition and film showing of “F*ck U In the Most Loving Way” on Friday, January 13th from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Ninth Street Independent Film Center in San Francisco, California.
Films like Womanhouse by Johanna Demetrakas and Womanhouse is Not a Home by Lynne Littman will be screened. Faith Wilding, the original Womanhouse artist, together with filmmaker Johanna Demetrakas are expexted to be there on the event and will participate in Q&A after the screening.
This exhibition aims to revisit the critiques of women’s relational roles presented in the 1972 landmark feminist Womanhouse exhibit by presenting works addressing women’s ongoing challenges in building their lives and thriving within structural and intersectional systems of oppression.
