Sports Basement is inviting everyone to join Urban Hiker for a 2.5-mile hike in the Presidio with Alexandra Kenin, founder of Urban Hiker SF and author of Urban Trails: San Francisco, the first and only guidebook to the city’s 70 miles of hiking trails.
The hike will be on Saturday, January 28th from 10:00 am to 12:30 noon. Meeting point will be at Sports Basement (Presidio) in 610 Old Mason Street, San Francisco, California.
In an hour, explore three unusual places in the Presidio like the former cavalry stables, the Pet Cemetery, and Dragonfly Creek. After the hike, you’ll be back at Sports Basement where Alexandra will sign copies of her book and share with you guys her favorite hiking spots.
Some post-hiking refreshments will also be served and there will be a raffle where one lucky hiker will win a free copy of the book. Copies will be available for sale on site.
