Join the free cooking demo and tasting with King Knish at the Ferry Building in The Embarcadero on Saturday, September 23rd, from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm, in San Francisco, California.
Offering “old world dishes with a new world twist,” Ramni Levy creates handmade knishes, latkes, and condiments that pay tribute to traditional Eastern European snack foods. The knish puff pastry is baked, consisting of a flaky outer crust that is filled with a rotating selection of flavor combinations.
Classic fillings such as potato are available alongside more novel flavor combinations like pastrami, wasabi potato, or herb goat cheese. Even when incorporating inventive new flavors, Ramni stays true to traditional preparation techniques.
All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
This cooking demo is made possible by CUESA, which has over 100 food, fruit, and vegetable vendors on Saturdays and the entire Bay as its beautiful backdrop.
