Join a free tour on the WWII shipyard called Marinship in Sausalito, California this coming Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10:00am to 12:30pm with the Bay Model Visitor Center.
This shipyard was bustling from the year 1942 until 1945 and you can learn more about WWII.
Ranger Joanne will lead the 2-mile walking tour of the area surrounding the Bay Model to experience what life was like in the shipyards.
Please dress in layers and wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring water, hat and other protection from the unpredictable weather.
No admission fees required!
