Traveling before the year ends? Save some small amount in your holiday travel budget!
Uber will be giving away free rides from 11 major airports in the U.S. Although taxis can’t charge more from the airport to the city center, the cost of some lifts can sometimes surpass the amount of your plane ticket. You might want to consider hitting up Uber because this holiday season, the ride-sharing giant will be offering two free rides of up to $65 each until December 31, 2016.
How to avail:
- Link your American Express card to your Uber account.
- Enter the “AMEXAIRPORT” promo code into the Promotions tab.
- If you have the new app, go to the Payments section instead.
- Book your Uber ride upon arriving at the airport. The app should automatically credit you $65 towards the ride.
- If it doesn’t, contact customer service and your charge will be adjusted.
