Join in for Vegan Ice Cream at the first and only community center for animal rights in the US – the Berkeley Animal Rights Center on Sunday, September 17th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Berkeley, California.
Expect to:
– Meet Pao, one of the three dogs rescued from a Yulin dog meat farm
– Learn about parallels between animal abuse abroad and here at home
– Get to know local vegans and animal lovers, and learn more about helping Berkeley lead the nation on animal rights
Suggested contribution: $2-$5 or bring a tub of vegan ice cream
Please bring your own dishes and silverware if possible. Feel free to bring a vegan dish to share, too.
